This three year, multi-phase project encompassed a major renovation and addition of the main hospital in Butte.  TESTCOMM was contracted with the design/build general contractor, Bouten Construction, to provide commissioning services for the project.  Scope of work included writing the commissioning specifications, writing the commissioning plan and schedules, observing systems installation and static tests, writing and executing equipment start-up and functional performance test procedures, working directly with subcontractors regarding their responsibilities and obligations in the commissioning activities, and determining the acceptability of test results.  Systems commissioned on this project include HVAC, steam and condensate, heating water, snowmelt, chilled water, variable frequency drives, and energy management instrumentation and controls.  The project completed in 2003.
